Vectara is a SaaS platform built from the ground up to support LLM-focused retrieval (think LLMs for search applications) as well as using that to surface higher-level business use cases like building chatbots, web/app/product search, and research-focused applications that are "grounded" in truth based on that retrieval. The team is fairly seasoned and comes from backgrounds like likes of Google, Elastic, and Cloudera. The product is real, and we already have paying customers, though the company is still very early.
