OneText is a different kind of payment company. Companies today rely on marketing campaigns in spite of the poor conversion rates they produce. Customers want to find exactly what they’re looking for and purchase it as quickly as possible. OneText enables seamless purchasing and automated customer interactions over SMS. We already drive increased cart recovery rates of over 5x for brands and help to convert nearly two-thirds of customers to recurring purchases - and we’re just getting started.
We’re looking for our first hire for the business. You will be responsible for helping us build and optimize our customer acquisition, on-boarding and support pipelines. Working with our founders, you will help us target direct-to-consumer brands to sign-up for OneText. You will have ownership over our outbound sales and customer onboarding processes, giving you a significant role in an early stage, high growth firm.
We are seeking the following attributes and skills for this role:
* Experience with CRM and e-mail automation systems is a nice-to-have. We presently use Close and a number of third party plugins but are open to reconfiguring our pipeline.
* Past experience in direct sales is valuable. A big part of this role will be developing warm leads from databases of target customers. Expect that you will be reaching out to individuals you have never met before. You are open to daily trial-and-error. While we have effective talking points and high conversion outreach methods, this is a young firm. We expect that there will be bumps in the road as we try things that don’t scale or otherwise work.
* Past work in the direct-to-consumer/consumer-product/goods space will serve you well. While not an absolute requirement, having a network will give you an edge early on in developing the best copy and e-mail automations to attract clients.

Pay and benefits will be market-rate and competitive. This will be determined as we fine tune the role with you to determine initial projects, expectations/KPI, and long term personal development goals.
