Falconer is building AI-powered knowledge tools for engineers. Knowledge management is a $30b industry, and we intend to build the tools that leverage AI to power the next generation of engineering knowledge. Our vision is to empower every engineer to write as well as the best technical writers, and enable every organization to have internal docs as great as the best external docs are.

We're currently a team of 5 from Stripe and Meta, prototyping the product with design partners, and hiring a few more engineers to round out the founding team. We've raised a $5m seed round and have several customers lined up, we just need to build it!

Clerq is a NYC based fintech startup building the next generation platform payments platform delivers a seamless checkout experience for high-ticket transactions. By leveraging modern bank rails, the platform offers the conversion and UX benefits of cards with risk and money movement infrastructure purpose-built for large purchases. Clerq replaces outdated manual payment methods like cash, checks and wires and expensive card surcharges with a smooth, integrated solution that helps merchants convert more customers without sacrificing margins.

We have started with the $1T+ U.S. auto vertical, where our platform is already powering payments for several of the most recognized brands in the industry. With proven traction, the company has expanded into high-growth adjacencies including high-ticket e-commerce, private travel and powersports.

We are a lean team right now of 3 engineers so are looking for a senior or staff level engineer who is excited by big opportunities and eager to ship.

- Product: AI-automated commercial real estate workflows to tackle necessary but mind-numbing tasks that human analysts typically perform.

- Funding. $4m seed round from Bling Capital, who also funded the last startup my cofounder and I created in the same space (exited to Built Technologies, which represents 10% of all US construction spend)

- Traction. We’re still building out the product, but have design partnerships with 4 prominent firms in our space, who together comprise 25% of the market we’re targeting.

- Team. You'd be joining as Eng #2 to pair with our Founding AI Eng. In addition to me and my cofounder, Josh, we also have 3 ex-Google/Uber contractors helping us build faster. Our plan is to transition all development in-house though.

Backend: Proficiency in Node.js, GraphQL (Hasura) and designing secure, scalable backend architectures. Cloud & Security: Familiarity with AWS (Amplify, Cloudfront), containerization (Docker/Podman), and security best practices (e.g., CORS, CSP).
