At Tresl, we empower ecommerce brands to effortlessly leverage data and send relevant, targeted messages to grow their business. To do that, we are building a data marketing platform that transforms customer data into actionable marketing recommendations and segmentation that can be used across all marketing channels.
We're looking for a data analyst (or intern) to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about the power of leveraging data for informed decision making, as well as making it accessible to our customers and colleagues.
What you’ll do here: - Conduct in-depth and complex analysis by leveraging our internal data and utilize advanced techniques from traditional statistics to modern Machine Learning - Support customer requests by building engaging reports and visualizations using SQL and Python - Create, maintain, and monitor internal business metrics and dashboards - Jump in wherever needed — we’re a small & scrappy team!
You’ll be a good fit if you have: - MS/BS/BA degree in quantitative field - 2+ years of experience manipulating data and building models (for analyst position) - Curiosity and ability to quickly learn and understand the vocabulary, concepts and key stakes of various fields of industry across ecommerce - Resourceful mindset towards technologies, willingness to explore - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with people at all levels and the ability to clearly articulate and present complex situations and concepts - Proficiency in SQL - Experience in a customer-facing role or capacity (preferred) - Familiarity with Python (preferred)
