We're seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join our core team as our lead data path engineer. Without going into too much detail, we're building a packet processing system using Linux networking tools including iptables, network namespaces, and virtual switching. Ideal experience includes high-performance software-based packet processing, Linux kernel tuning, network protocols, as well as some familiarity with open source security tools. Experience in C, C++, and one or more higher-level languages such as Python. Familiarity with Docker containers and designing scalable, fault-tolerant, highly available system architectures is also beneficial.

Skillset: Linux networking, iptables, DPDK, SR-IOV, Software-defined Networking (SDN), Network Function Virtualization (NFV), fd.io, VPP, containers, and Kubernetes.
