The Celo Protocol will be launching early next year and the community is looking for people interested in running nodes on the network to secure the protocol. Such nodes, or validators, earn 75K Celo Dollars (a crypto asset pegged to the USD) per year paid out by the protocol itself. A great way to gain experience and win Celo Gold ahead of the launch is by participating in the Great Celo Stake Off, which is a competition that will run on Celo’s incentivized testnet, Baklava.

The Stake Off starts December 4th 2019 with prizes including up to 2 million Celo Gold.
