Reporting to the CTO, this role will focus on implementing features across web and mobile platforms while following engineering best practices. The ideal candidate combines creativity with discipline: committed to writing clean, maintainable code, collaborating closely with the team, and delivering reliable solutions. This is a contract role (1099), 40 hrs/week. Remote, but require Bay Area or NYC location for regular in-office collaboration with CEO and CTO. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. as an independent contractor; we cannot provide visa sponsorship.

What You’ll Do:

Build and ship features across web and mobile Prototype new AI-driven workflows and agents that automate content creation and operations. Hey everyone. I'm a Principal Engineer at Censys. We are the source for Internet Intelligence. We conduct a full internet survey every day and turn that into actionable data for folks to identify risk, research emerging internet threats, and make the internet a safer place. We're looking for a Senior SRE to help improve reliability and developer experience, and a Staff Software Engineer to join our Attack Surface Management product team.
